Joyce Roberson's Survivor Story

I was hospitalized in December 2003. I under went several debridements and skin drafts. I was in icu for three months and on life support for several days. By the grace of God I'm still here. The after effects are life long. I have severe pain in the areas of my infection. I will never the the same. I have learn to live with my deformities. It bothers me sometimes, but I just thank god for my life.
