Comments about the web site: My prayers are with the people in Texas. My deepest heartful sorrow is with families that have lost people to this and especially of parents of young children. My daughter at 14 months old had NF, we were lucky it was what the doctors call a slow strand. It was in her vaginal area and she was life flighted to University of Michigan where she underwent surgery. She had a gap 2 inches wide and 2 inches deep. The end of this month will mark her 1 year anniversary of NF. I am a lucky mother who can say she made a complete recovery and will never remember the trauma suffered. I have not logged on in awhile, but was devastated to hear the number of cases in Texas. I hope with Donna and Jackie's dedication to this foundation and all the viewers support that we can begin to find a cure or something to stop this bacteria.

We have seen several cases of contact dermatitis on the hands of chrn due to antibacterial soaps! It is difficult to give good information and give reassurance. Any information that could be helpful in this regard would be appreciated. We have seen several potential Invasice GAS cases within the week. One was a periorbital cellulits in a child with varicella. There have been several other cases that were suspect but not verified.
