Monte Richard Webb
January 3, 1937 - October 3, 2005

Dad felt fine on Saturday October 1st, going to the flee market, walking around with our mom and socializing as normal. On Sunday he woke up with flu like symptoms so stayed in bed. As the day progressed into the evening, he woke up with what was described as leg cramps. Thinking it was a blood clot, late Sunday night he went to the hospital. After a lengthily examination, the hospital staff had him transported to a larger hospital over an hour away. At the second hospital he was rushed into surgery, where they amputated his leg. After surgery he never regained consciousness. The decision was made to take him off of life support on Monday, October 3rd, 2005.
