Although there were many other factors that contributed to the death of my husband, the NF is what really got a hold of him and weakened his immune system to the point where he could no longer live with or fight his other ailments. Although this was not the thing that ultimately killed him, it was a major contributing factor. A pulmonary embolism was the final straw but that happened because he could no longer move around and get out of bed due to the NF. I will miss him until the day I die. I feel like half of me is missing. My husband is gone, my daughter's father is gone. I write this so that others can be aware that a small cut or trauma can cause NF. My husband fell and landed on his hand, causing trauma to it. From that, the NF manifested. Rest in Peace, my love. I know you are in a much better place than we can even imagine. Love, |
