My mother, Ellen Elizabeth Miller Flower Bryndle, was born August 15, 1962 and passed away August 2, 2009 early in the morning in St. Petersburg Florida. She went into the hospital on July 3, 2009 with 2 sores in her groin area. Upon arrival she went into multiple organ failure. She was in a coma and had to be on dialysis, a colostomy bag, 2 pic lines and had machines breathing for her. She had more than 5 debridements to the area but it spread more and more each day. It eventually spread up her back and the last surgery left an open hole 12 inches by 13 inches wide by 5 inches deep as well as the 2 in her groin that were the size and depth of baseballs. She had not come off any of the support and was only getting worse. We decided to let her go be with god on August 1, 2009 and she lay silently until her passing in the early hours of August 2, 2009. She was 46 years old. She leaves behind her husband James, Chilren Christopher, Alicia and Amanda as well as many other loved ones.
