Cathy was born October 1, 1951 the youngest of seven children. She lived a happy life and was a loving, creative and beautiful person. She died in Salinas, California on August 21, 2004 where she lived with her husband for over 25 years. She will be greatly missed as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend but her spirit will live in our hearts and lives forever.

My Aunt, Catherine Ann Moore, died August 21, 2004. The day before she died she went to the emergency room four times at three different hospitals and they sent her away each time with pain medication telling her it was a pulled muscle. The next morning she woke up and the bacteria was eating its way out of her skin. By 10:00 am she was on life support and by 1:00, when they finally stabilized her for surgery and opened up her leg, the bacteria had became like an acid that had gone into her waist. It was far too late to even remove her leg and hip. They packed her back up because the family had decided not to have her go through such horrific ordeal and they took her back to into ICU -- she died a couple of minutes later. She was 53 years old and one of the most beautiful and loving human beings you could ever meet. Thank you for the dedication area -- I will miss her greatly.
